In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1. There is a lot to behold in this one verse. When I look skyward at night and see the stars, the moon, the constellations, the story of creation begins to unfold. I am utterly amazed at how significantly small I am, and yet, He holds us in His Heart of His greatest importance. He made us for Himself and it all started In the beginning.

Hurt runs deep when it comes from a loved one, family and friends. Rejection cuts to the heart, sometimes bringing you to a point in your life of not being able to cry. It is sad, whatever the reason or circumstance that may have occurred in your life. You have two choices: dwell on the hurt or, pick up your cross and follow Him. Christ had been so severely beaten, that He was weakened to the point of death and was helped by Simon of Cyrene. In Luke 9: 23, Christ said to His followers, ‘If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.’ The cross teaches us how to live each day. Let us therefore dwell in Christ as He lives within us and not dwell on the emotional pain we have suffered. He loves YOU and gave up His Life for YOU.
