Your Philadelphia Eagles are on their way to the Super Bowl!

This is the second time in five years. Amazing! Totally AMAZING!

You told me in the fall of 2016 that the Eagles would win the 2017 season Super Bowl with Nick Foles. You were absolutely right. You knew. John was happy beyond description of the word. It was an emotional experience for both of us. Thinking of you. Always thinking of you. Knowing how happy you would be, beyond description of the very word.

So now, with different men and a different coach, they are on their way again. I wish you were here to experience this with our son. The Division and the Conference games were played at home. Imagine that!

Maybe you know this. This is a gift. I can see your smile and the sparkle in your eyes. Thank you for teaching John how to 'bleed green' and have the same love for them as you have. I remember you teaching John from the time he could walk. Dick Vermeil days. Memories I treasure. Thank you for them.
